Police Rescue 270 Dogs Who Had Their Vocal Cords Cut To Hide Breeders’ Illegal Operation !!

Police raided two homes in Madrid, Spain, after receiving information that an illegal breeding operation was happening .

270 dogs, mostly Chihuahuas and Pomeranians, were found in deplorable conditions in the basements of the homes that were divided into a breeding area and sales area. These dogs were stuffed in small wire cages, and many dogs barked low. A spokesperson for the police said, “Some dogs had a really attenuated bark. After performing the acceptable tests, it had been found that that they had undergone a cordectomy-section of the vocal cords. The procedure was administered possibly in order that they didn't bark and not alert neighbours to the existence of an illegal hatchery.”

The cruel procedure is understood more commonly as debarking and wont to soften or eliminate a dog’s bark, but often times produces a muffled noise. Officers believed that the breeders didn't want the dogs to bring attention to their illegal operation, so they silenced them. Five people were arrested after the raids on the homes in Meco and Arganda Del Rey. Police reported that two veterinarians were among the people arrested for his or her involvement in the highly lucrative illegal operation. The veterinarian provided each dog with a microchip and a stamp to prove that the operation appeared to be legal. The arrested group ‘allegedly formed one among the most distributors of dogs at European level,” posted Policía Nacional.

Many of the small dogs greeted their rescuers with wagging tails and attempted to bark. Police posted a video of 1 of the raids, which showed rows and rows of cages crammed with dogs. a number of the dogs were still nursing puppies et al. pawed at the crate to be freed. Police and rescue workers carefully loaded the dogs onto a van and brought them to local shelters to be cared for until the investigation is complete. Locals and other people around the world thanked officers for his or her quick action and for rescuing the innocent dogs. One person wrote, “Congratulations on the work, I hope those animals begin for adoption and find good families that give all of them the love and affection they haven’t had thus far 👏👏.” Watch as officers rescue the innocent dogs from the basement of 1 of the homeinin the video below.
