A pregnant dog who was abandoned by her owners and waiting day and night by the front entrance is in safe hands with rescuers.
Tania Cappelluti teaches yoga in Costa Rica |Central American country|Central American nation"> Costa Rica and helped set up Charlie’s Angels Animal Rescue Costa Rica (CAARCR) After she saw the proportion of stray pets living on the street under harsh conditions.
Recently, she received a message about the pregnant dog who was left behind by her family. The neighbor let her know that the dog was abandoned with none food or water and really on the brink of parturition . “This is so unbelievable,” Tania wrote on Facebook on August 16. “I really don’t understand how people can do that to their dog.” “They moved away and left their pregnant dog behind,” she continued. “No food or water. On her own, with an enormous belly. The poor girl is sitting now day and night ahead of the door expecting her people to return back home.”
Tania was ready to convince the neighbor to require care of the dog while she tried to seek out a foster, as she was back range in Germany at the time and couldn’t rescue the dog herself. Fortunately, for the pregnant dog – now named Marie – one among CAARCR’s volunteers, Wynn Mackey, said he would help foster Marie. Marie was made comfortable at his home and just 10 days later Marie gave birth to seven healthy puppies!
Marie was very happy to be somewhere safe where she could relax and look after her pups. Now that Marie and her puppies are healthy and happy, CAARCR is going to be trying to find forever homes for them. It’s a cheerful ending for Maria and her family, because of the kindness of strangers.
“It’s incredible how briskly things can change for a dog within the shortest time… for worse, but also for the higher ,” Tania wrote. “Marie is certainly during a far better place now.”
