Puppy Left To Die In Plastic Bag Saved By One Facebook Post

Social media has a fantastic power to save lots of lives. alittle puppy was trapped during a bag and thrown down a ravine in Rondon, Brazil when a lady stumbled across him. Unable to succeed in him herself, she posted a photograph, and an urgent note to Arca de Noé – GAPA (Noah’s Ark) Facebook page.

Marcia Lutz wrote, “He is inside a bag . The place is difficult to access. I can’t save his life. Can anyone help me?”

Luckily, a nurse, Cláucia Jackline de Oliveira, saw the photos of the puppy, and was accessible to where the puppy had been spotted. She and another nurse bent down to catch the puppy and rescued Lutz half an hour after Lutz posted the photo.

They climbed down the ravine and picked up the dog to bring her to safety. “The bag was already filled with feces and urine,” Cláucia said. The smell was unbearable! Poor thing…”

The mother puppy has been checked and it's okay. Shortly after Oliveira asked the Facebook group if someone would be ready to take care of the puppy and within an hour she posted to the page that “It has been solved” and thus the puppy had been adopted!
