Lewis Hamilton 'Heartbroken' After Beloved Pet Bulldog Coco Dies Aged Six

He shared the sad news about his pet.


Lewis Hamilton's beloved pet bulldog Coco has died aged six. In an emotional Instagram post, the Formula One driver said he tried to save lots of her, but she gave up the ghost of a suspected attack .

Credit: Instagram/Lewis Hamilton, The post read: "Last night at around 9pm, my beautiful female child Coco died reception with the family by her side. Her little heart gave in, We expect this to be an attack. I tried to resurrect her but it had been no use. "She'd had the simplest day, happier than I'd seen her during a while. She was such a special dog, born with numerous problems and that I feel so lucky to possess adopted her. Her breeder said she was getting to need to put her down as she wouldn't be ready to afford all the items she would wish to survive, she went through tons to become the bouncy, lazy loving dog she was. "On her Judgment Day, we shared a special moment playing together, which I will be able to always remember . I will be able to miss her snoring and the way, happy She always wants to make sure of me. She was only 6, healthy and happy.



"Naturally, my heart is broken but I hope she's during a better place with my Aunty Diane. Wanted to share with you and thank those of you who loved and cared for her." As well as Coco, the 35-year-old also has another bulldog called Roscoe. He has frequently shared the snaps of the pair down the years and that they even have their own dedicated Instagram page with 176,000 followers.

Last night at around 9pm, my beautiful little girl Coco died at home with the family by her side. Her little heart gave in, we think it was a heart attack. I tried to revive her but it was no use. She’d had the best day, happier than I’d seen her in a long time. She was such a special dog, born with so many problems and I feel so lucky to have adopted her. Her breeder said she was going to have to put her down as she wouldn’t be able to afford all the things she would need to survive, she went through a lot to become the bouncy, lazy loving dog she was. On her last day, we shared a special moment playing together which I will never forget. I will miss her snoring and how happy she was always to see me. She was only 6, healthy and happy. Naturally, my heart is broken but i hope she’s in a better place with my Aunty Diane. Wanted to share with you and thank those of you who loved and cared for her. #coco #restinpeace

The six-time Formula One champion has frequently made public appearances with the pooches, even taking Roscoe with him to the Sports Personality of the Year Awards in 2014.
