Nurses Help Family Sneak In Dog To Say Goodbye To Dying Man

He was able to die at peace with the love of his best friend.

There are two things that we will all agree on and that’s that dogs are family and nurses have the most important hearts. I’m willing to venture out on a limb and say if you’re reading this, you’ll agree. This story that you’re close to read will bring a tear to your eye. PlowPlow forward and get paper towels ready!

Luckily, for one Missouri man, he found a gaggle of nurses that had hearts of pure gold. David King had been battling cancer for several years. Towards the top of 2017, he knew his time was running out. King had the chance to mention bye-bye to his human relations, but something was missing. ItIt's Lil Fee. Lil Fee was King’s beloved Yorkie mix. 2 Where did we go together! Naturally, King wanted to say goodbye to Lil Fee for the last time. Sadly, the hospital had a strict no-pets policy. One may argue that dogs are quite “pets,” but there was no time for debate.

Some Rules Are Meant To Be Broken Ellie Miguel, King’s granddaughter, told Yahoo Lifestyle, “(My grandpa) spent a few week within the hospital, and my grandma brought pictures of the dog to hold up.” Pictures weren’t quite enough. Unsure whether he would be ready to make it back home, King’s wife, Cindy, decided to require matters into her own hands. Thankfully, some nurses know that some rules are meant to be broken. “The nurses always heard my grandma talking about Lil Fee. In order that they encouraged her and helped her get the dog in. that they had my aunt carry the dog during a really big purse,” Miguel said.

So, with the help of some incredibly compassionate nurses, an outsized purse, and a patient little pups, King need to snuggle his baby one last time. One Last Bye-bye Miguel was just 17-years-old when she shared the heartwarming story on Twitter. “My grandpa is losing his battle with cancer therefore the nurses helped my grandma sneak their dog into the hospital to mention goodbye,” Miguel wrote.

The post quickly went viral as doctors and nurses agreed that they did the proper thing! King was so overjoyed at the sight of Lil Fee that he tried moving his arms for the prime time that day. His family says that it had been a flash they're going to always remember.

David King took his last breath the very next day. Becauseout ofBecause there was a group of nurses and family members, and a puppy, he was ready to fall asleep with the love of his allies.
