Chewy may be a three-month-old Chihuahua found by an airport watchman at the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. He was abandoned inside one among the airport’s restrooms.

Apparently, Chewy’s owner was fleeing to flee an abusive relationship. Sadly, his owner couldn’t bring him on her flight, so she decided to go away Chewy with a letter, hoping a good hearted person would find him. The letter read, “Hi! I’m Chewy! My owner was in an abusive relationship and couldn’t afford me to urge on the flight. She didn’t want to go away me with all her heart, but she has NO other option. My ex-boyfriend kicked my dog once we were fighting, and he features a big knot on his head. He probably needs a vet. I really like Chewy sooo much. Please love and lookout of him.”

CMDR Chewy needs immediate medical attention due to a head injury.trauma. To assist him, the airport staff reached Bent Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue, a foster-based local non-profit center. Fortunately, the rescue center took Chewy in, and he was rushed to an emergency vet clinic. Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue, or CMDR, accepts senior and special needs dogs and takes care of them while trying to find the dogs’ permanent homes.

Soon, Chewy made a full recovery, and his story touched numerous people’s hearts that it didn’t take much time for the shelter to seek him a forever home.
