A dog named Captain began to spend his days on a cemetery after his beloved owner Miguel Guzman, had gave up the ghost back in 2006.


The dog would sleep next to his ex owner’s grave nightly .


Captain joined his owner on heaven when he was 15 years old, he gave up the ghost thanks to renal failure .


The amazing loyalty story of Captain starts on 24 March 2006 after his owner Miguel had gave up the ghost , the instant the sweet dog noticed Miguel is not any longer coming home he went bent look for him.


No one knows with the assistance of what miracle he managed to seek out out which one was Miguel’s grave, the grave was located within the nearby Municipal Cemetery of Villa Carlos Paz in Cordoba, Argentina!


Captain would lay next to Miguel headstone everyday from 6 p.m resting there until morning came.


Miguel had brought Captain the German shepherd mix back in 2005 as a surprise for Damian, his son.


Seeing that Captain vanished after Miguel’s death, his son Damian and wife Veronica looked for him but had no luck finding him anywhere.


Damian found the dog on cemetery when he visited visit his father’s grave, nobody ever acknowledged how did the dog managed to seek out out the grave of his owner.


The family did tons to bring Captain home but he simply refused by deed and arising to the cemetery whenever .


Hector Baccega the Cemetery director said that the sweet dog earned the love of both cemetery caretakers and precinct workers.

They made sure he was fed and took his vaccinations, Captain once broke his front leg and therefore the vet to help him was called immediately.


Occasionally Captain would attend his old home and pay a visit to Veronica and Damien, the lady has already accepted that the dog doesn’t want to remain with them but he wants to remain next to his best friend’s grave.


Damian once tried to bring Captain home on the other hand he came to understand all this tiny dog’s heart desired was to be next thereto headstone.


Captain and Hector Baccega would walk everyday through the cemetery, but the instant 6.pm would come round the dog would run to get down next to his deceased owner’s headstone.

Unfortunately 4 years back sweet Captain was diagnosed with renal failure during a monthly check up by the family vet, the vet and family felt that it had been best to let the poor dog carry his daily routine a bit like he did all the past years.


Rest in peace Captain, you were a real loyal friend.
