From the surface, 19-year-old Krystal Cherika Scott’s home seemed like most others in Kokoma, Indiana. Inside, however, authorities say she was torturing, skinning, and killing innocent dogs and cats and videotaping the horror.
Thanks to an intense investigation that included local authorities and FBI agents working on tips from concerned citizens, Scott was recently arrested.
Once officials tracked the IP address to Scott’s home, they found several dead animals, animal body parts, and skulls of dogs and cats. They also discovered 12 live cats, three live dogs, and 12 lizards at the residence.
“As decent citizenry , we've an excellent responsibility to guard and have compassion for the animals that inhabit this earth,” said us Attorney Josh J. Minkler. “It is unconscionable to think that any person could possibly bring themselves to such acts upon an animal. We cannot allow this behavior during a decent and moral society. that's why Ms. Scott must face the results of her choices.”
Scott was accused of making crush videos that deliberately crushed and killed animals.intentionally. Consistent with Idaho News, animal crushing involves “conduct during which one or more living non-human mammals, birds, reptiles, or amphibians is purposely crushed, burned, drowned, suffocated, impaled, or otherwise subjected to serious bodily injury.”
According to the police, Scott denied killing the animals but later said she had a nasty side and an honest side and “her good side loves cats and dogs while her bad side tells her to kill them.”
