Owner Tosses Paralyzed Senior Dog On Freeway, Man Builds Her Custom Wheelchair

The dog has bone cancer. What a shameful thing for the coward owner to dump a sick, senior dog in such a ruthless manner. Let’s stand up for this voiceless pooch and raise our voices against such abuse!
Special thanks to Angela, Keith and everyone who came together to help Willow. Such a beautiful ending to a tragic story.

Angela Chu was driving along Highway 74 in Shelby, North Carolina, when she spotted an emaciated dog dragging herself helplessly in the woods.

Angela knew that the paralyzed dog wouldn’t survive on the busy freeway, so she scooped her up and rushed her to a vet. At the vet’s, it had been confirmed that the dog was neglected for quite a while. She had long nails and knotty-matted fur that had several infections. However, the foremost heartbreaking discovery was that the poor dog was affected by bone cancer in her hind legs. She was in extreme pain all the time, and her owner simply got obviated her to avoid the effort of a sickly dog.

Angela learned that the dog would soon be euthanized if nobody claimed her. So she volunteered to provide hospice care to take care of this dog, and named her Willow. It has only been weeklyweek, but Willow is already well-settled with Angela’s family and her doggie siblings! When Lowe’s employee, Keith, Heard about Willow’s story, he decided to create a custom wheelchair for her. Thanks to her new ride and a few powerful medicines, Willow’s final days are going to be happy and comfortable! Keith may be a habitual do-gooder who had previously made wheelchairs for other disabled animals also.

As of now, Angela has shared that Willow has started eating solid food again. She has impressed everyone as well as her zest for all times. What a shameful thing for the coward owner to dump a sickly, senior dog in such a ruthless manner. Let’s get up for this voiceless pooch and lift our voices against such abuse!
