Blind And Deaf Dachshund Enjoys Life To The Fullest

We couldn't help falling in love with Hope. You'll see why!

This determined Dachshund named Hope refuses to let being blind and deaf get in her way. The double dapple dachshund was left at a rescue center a couple of years after being born. Her disability was caused by improper breeding, but somehow Hope survived.

Lauren Ann Kramer-Theuerkauf from Fribourg, Illinois found Hope on a rescue site and immediately went crazy with her and revealed that Hope was not docile at all. Whether she’s sniffing out the cats in the house to chase or stealing a nap in the linen closet, Hope is usually happy, playful and downright inspiring.
