Elderly girl has a microchip, but her family never came to shelter to get her

On October 18, an elderly girl was taken in at a busy California animal control agency. The 12-year-old dog, named Kitty, features a microchip, but her family never came to urge her.

Quiet granny, happy and wiggly and loves treats. Arrived as a stray with a microchip, but nobody ever came for her. Saving Kitty,Kitty stands little chance of being adopted if nobody knows that she is there…elderly, black dogs aren't the sort of pets that adopters typically hunt down. PleasePlease share her adoption information to help this older girl find an alternative family.
