After spending 16 years with his family. His heartless owner surrendered him to the vet to be euthanized!
Chicago, a sixteen-year-old Chihuahua thought he had an ideal life after being involved with an owner whom he loved. But he didn't know that the owner was no longer a healthy and lively puppy, and almost handed him to the shelter!
The owner took Chicago to the veterinarian and asked to put him down! Unfortunately, Chicago didn't know that he had surrendered, and he had been expecting his master to return at night. When the vet saw the betrayal and hurt in Chicago’s eyes, he couldn't euthanize him and decided to offer him another chance in life.
Thankfully, he was taken by Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue who’ve also placed him under the care of Anastasia Alworth, a foster mama. She said that dogs during this age should be treated royally as this is often their time of life.
