Urgent rescue needed for abused ‘bait’ dog who only wants to hug her stuffie

At the Miami-Dade Animal Services, an urgent plea has been sent out for help rescuing a young, abused dog who presumably had been a “bait” dog when picked up by local animal control officers on Monday. All she wants to try to do is cuddle as well as her stuffed toy; her welfare and future are over.

The two-year-old American bulldog presented with open puncture wounds, a swollen face also as her muzzle. She is extremely frightened and wishes help as soon as possible. Her shelter notes include the subsequent details:

“THIS IS BRANDY SHE WAS BROUGHT INTO THE SHELTER BY ENFORCEMENT. According to the stab wounds on the face and forelegs, she had multiple injuries. Face Swollen, Muzzle Swollen. Pet are going to be Sedated to guage Injuries & Provide Wound Management.”

PetHarbor adoption listing: I am an unaltered female, brown American Bulldog. The shelter staff think I'm about 2 years old. I have been at the shelter since Dec 28, 2020. Although I'm still in my stray holding period, I'll be available for the Foster to Adopt Program. Click here to find out more.
