A mama dog and her litter of newborn puppies were abandoned and dumped on a mud road in Atascosa County, Texas, by a cruel human. It was a chilly outing, and these newborn puppies wouldn't have survived a long call at the weather .
Luckily, they were spotted just in time, and Atascosa County Animal Control was contacted for help. Officers immediately arrived to select the small family up and convey them back to their clinic for medical attention and care. This dog’s mother has a contact sty and needs eye drops to help it heal. She and her puppies were then put into a warm kennel with soft blankets to rest.
ACAC’s Rescue partner, Puppy Pleasers stepped forward to assist and gladly accepted the mother and her baby. They promised to stay the family together until the puppies were sufficiently old to be weaned from their mom. they're going to also still treat the mama’s sty.
Once the puppies are old enough and then, the mama dog is fully recovered, they're going to all attend loving forever homes. ACAC has since launched a criminal investigation to seek out whoever dumped these poor dogs. The person faces criminal charges of Animal Cruelty by abandonment.
