Police Officer Goes Above And Beyond The Call Of Duty To Save Abused Pregnant Dog

 The Police officer received a call about pregnant dog brutally beaten in the street. What he did for her will stay with you forever

John Lyons, a Cleveland policeman, works Cleveland’s 4th District, where he also lives, to stay people safe and sound in the neighborhoods, which surely includes rescuing homeless animals.



The officer often comes across abused and neglected dogs in his routine, so, he takes them with him to stay them in the jail until his shift is over to require them home with him. Then, his goal is to find a permanent home for these dogs.





One day, in 2013, he received a call a few very sickly pregnant dog; whose shape was so rough, was found wandering the streets after being brutally beaten. So, she was directly taken to West Park Animal Hospital to be treated.




He then took the dog, who was named Clarice, home with him, and kept her in his garage after fixing a cushty area there.

He was also beside her to when she gave birth to 7 pups! The story went viral after he was caught on a photograph sleeping by her side. What an excellent officer! Watch the video below.
