“Blossom is teaching us that the best way to heal is to help others.“
Everybody, meet Blossom! Blossom may be a gentle dog with a fantastical story. She was only three-year-old when she was given up by her owners to a shelter in Texas. There, volunteers acknowledged that the pup was pregnant with the litter of puppies.
The problem was that Blossom needed to be treated for a medical problem she had, which was only possible after she finished nursing her puppies. So one of the people performing in the shelter decided to let Blossom in until she could be adopted, which was after her treatment was completed. it's how the longer term mom found comfort in Maggie Escriva.
In the end, Blossom did give birth to her babies, but unfortunately only one of them survived. Although she has experienced a lot, it is too much for the mother dog. She was heartbroken and went on a deep state of depression. She even refused to eat and drink water. The people that took care of her, feared for her life as nothing appeared to be ready to comfort her.
Thankfully, all has changed though when Maggie came up with the brilliant idea to introduce Blossom to 6 orphaned pups that desperately needed a mom. The heartbroken mom immediately adopted the pups and commenced taking care of them as if they were her own babies. Her maternal instincts soon kicked in. out of Blossom’s kind heart, all six pups survived and were ready to find loving owners once they were sufficiently old to be adopted!
