Dog Bites Knife-Wielding Home Intruder, Chases Him Out & Saves His Family

"She's our hero. If it hadn't been for her, that guy could've gone to the kids' rooms or something. The story plays out very differently if Marley's not there."

A dog in Texas was seen as a hero after Willie helped repel a knife-wielding home intruder.

53-year-old Thong Quoc Pham entered the Newsom family’s domestic via the returned door, which they by accident left unlocked.

Eight-year-old Marley ran to the lower back door and began to growl and bark. The Newsoms couldn’t see something for the reason that it used to be dark, however heard Marley barking and went to see what was once wrong. When they turned on the corridor lights, they noticed that Pham was standing there with a knife. Pham managed to stab Taylor Newsom in the arm and reduce Marley. Then, Marley bit Pham and chased him out of the house.

Thanks to Marley’s rapid actions, the family’s six-year-old and four-year-old kids remained unhurt in their rooms. “She’s our hero. If it hadn’t been for her, that man could’ve long past to their rooms or something,” the Newsoms advised KDFM. “The story performs out in another way if Marley’s now not there.”Taylor and Marley have been handled for their injuries and are predicted to make a full recovery.

Sooner or later, the police determined that Pham was hiding near a creek and arrested him. HE was once charged with animal cruelty and aggravated assault with a lethal weapon.
