Poor pup ‘Ash’ has been depressed since her owner no longer wanted her

Ash has been with her former family for almost her entire life, but on May 24, they woke up and decided that they would no longer have time to accompany her. Unfortunately, no one asked Ash how she felt when her family handed her over to the Harris County Pets Resource Center.

And here, she sits, waiting and watching; how does anyone convey to her that her owners aren't coming back? Perhaps, a brighter future is just around the corner? Perhaps seeing her photo and video will help spread the word about her condition and help Ash find a loving home?

“Someone is going to strike gold with this beauty. She's terrified since her owner didn't care what happened to her; they had NO TIME for her, but we're sure Ash loved them nonetheless. This child has a lot going for her, and we hope she finds the best family possible.”
