Veteran Loses His Dogs After A Heart Attack, Pleads For Them To Be Returned

After suffering a massive heart attack, and an extended hospital stay, this veteran was heartbroken to know that his dogs were given up for adoption. He was willing to do anything to get them back.

James Pack, a 58-year-old Vietnam War veteran from Newark, Delaware, was attacked and had to be hospitalized for several weeks. His dogs, Bailey and Blaze, were placed under the care of Delaware Animal Center and SPCA.

However, James’ stay in the hospital was extended by a couple of months, and then the shelter decided to offer the dogs up for adoption. When he came out of the hospital, he was devastated to find out that he had lost his dogs. Luckily, the dogs were still not adopted. But James didn’t have the $250 adoption fee to urge his dogs back. In desperation, James decided to sell his car to place the funds together. That’s when he received a call from a PetSmart store.

It seems that the shelter in the store wants to help James urge his dog to come back. Volunteers had come to the fore and chipped in $5-$10 each, until there was enough to hide the adoption fees.

In this video, we can be sure that James walked into the pet shop, but we don't know what will happen in front of him. you'll need to see the touching moment, when he realizes that the adoption fee had been covered, and finishes up crying. In gratitude, he blows a kiss up to the sky, before finally having the sweetest reunion with his dogs! Click the video below to observe the poor veteran react to getting his dogs back, and his emotional reunion together with his pets!
