A videotape shared lately on the internet shows the moment when a Labrador pup enters a swash where a deer cub was stuck in the water.
The canine swims over to the pup, picks it up with its mouth, and carries it to the bank where the guardian was recording the videotape. The canine leaves the deer on the ground, without causing any injuries.

From the videotape it isn't possible to know if the mama of the dog was in there.
