As hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians flee their country, numerous are refusing to leave without their faves by their side. Across social media, prints have popped up of people and their creatures trying uncertain border crossings or huddling in lemon harbors and shelter stations.
According to recent reports, Poland, Romania and Slovakia are allowing Ukrainians to bring faves across borders without veterinary paperwork. Still, there are still numerous creatures in Ukraine in need of food, drug and care.
