We were on their way to gostomel, a small city near Kyiv which is completely destroyed by the war.
we have 3 tones of food for dogs and cats, that the owners couldn't take during the evacuation. There are hundreds of animals like that, some of them died because of starvation, from explosions, some of them were just shot .
But a lot of animals survived and they are waiting for their owners to come back, guarding their destroyed houses and yards. most dogs are very scared and don't get close to people...in each yard, we leave for them as much as food as possible so that they have enough for several days .
this big beatiul white dog runs away as soos as we get close but she will definitely come back here to eat , there are very few houses in this city that have remained intact most of buildings are destroyed , we notice a dog near a broken window and loudly calling for help , he is so scared and even bit couple times .
We where speechless .......... most likely, breeders lived here, they made money by selling these dogs and when the war started, they ran away , after euthanized or poisoned their dogs ...
we must report this on the police and after they check the house , we can come back and take the rest o the dogs .
He is really lucky, he is one of the survivors in that hell .. We are happy that we heped him .
