Dancers Help 6-Month-Old Mistreated Lab With Broken Legs Avoid Euthanasia

George came with fractured paws at the Del Rio Animal Control Facility in Texas. The beautiful 6-month-old Labrador Retriever had reached the shelter's limit for how long canines may be kept alive.

A bunch of dancers stepped forward just before he was about to be euthanized, writes ilovemydogsomuch.

The rescue organisation was founded in 2020 with the goal of raising awareness about animal welfare and saving lives. George's life would be saved because to Dancers for Dogs.

"George is too traumatized to leave his small flat," they said on Facebook. "He is terrified of us, and he has given up hope." He has surrendered. He is in discomfort."

An examination indicated that the puppy's legs had been damaged but had never healed properly, and surgery would not help. He is given medical attention, food, and drugs.

He is improving and taking small steps toward recovery.

Though his path to recovery is lengthy, George has a terrific staff who loves and believes in him.
