The dog sat alone, hoping that someone would notice him. So many people had passed him by and had not cared enough to assist him. He had mange and had lost the majority of his fur.
He was so emaciated that sitting up straight was difficult for him. He felt exhausted and bewildered.
When a compassionate woman noticed the puppy, she phoned a local rescuer who rescues animals in her spare time. The savior arrived in a flash.
She scooped up the puppy and placed him in a box in her car. She wanted to keep him warm and cozy. They then drove directly to the veterinarian.
The dog was diagnosed with mange and anemia by the vet. They were certain that if he received sufficient treatment, he would recover quickly.
