Hero Dalmatian dies saving its owners from cobra that bit the dog as he fearlessly protected family home.

Tyson died a hero, sacrificing himself to save his owner's family from a dangerous snake.

Late Monday night, the one-and-a-half-year-old Dalmatian killed a cobra that was trying to creep inside Amin Shariff's house in Ramachandra Bazaar in Jatni, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. However, he was bitten by a snake and died, causing the Shariff family to lament the death of their dedicated "selfless angel."

The event occurred at 2 a.m., when Amin was awoken by Tyson's frantic barking. When he went to unlock the gate, he saw his pet fighting a deadly Indian cobra. Tyson was able to slay the venomous snake after a few minutes of ferocious combat.

The happiness was short-lived, however, as the dog fainted on the floor. Tyson's tail and face were both injured when Amin looked for snake bites.
