Joselito was a Chihuahua puppy that was mistreated by his owners for the first 12 years of his life. Despite the fact that he only understood what strikes were, this canine protected the location he called home. Joselito was rescued by the Kokoroi Animal Shelter in Tampico, Mexico, in January of this year and lived the happiest seven months of his life with him. Unfortunately, life took its toll on him, and he died on July 21. He is aware of his tragic narrative with a good conclusion.
This puppy is described by the Kokoroi shelter as a creature of brightness, hope, and a great deal of love, since despite his tragic past, he gave himself a second opportunity to feel cherished and protected. An excellent canine who died on a particular day known as "Dog Day."
Joselito's tragic existence
Have you ever seen the most lovely, light-filled eyes? Joselito possessed this trait; he was an elderly dog, perhaps 12 years old, and his body had been battered by life and the cruelty he had endured for a long period.
This dog was skinny, had trachea difficulties, pancreatitis, a heart murmur, and renal problems when he was rescued by the Kokoroi shelter. They didn't know his name or where he came from, but they did know he was an elderly dog with heart problems.
They allegedly beat him every time they offered him food because he was afraid every time he wanted to eat; as a result, he was underweight and on the verge of starvation.
Joselito was loyal and guarded that spot called home, even though his owners didn't mind maintaining him in his healthy form. He was trembling and unable to lie down due to back pain.
Joselito gets a second chance.
On January 12, 2021, the shelter rescued him and gave him with medical care, but most importantly, mental assistance to help him mend his abused heart.
He couldn't sit because to his health issues and worries, so he just stood there, praying they wouldn't strike him, but with the help of medicine, he was able to lie down comfortably and without anxiety over time.
He wore diapers since he couldn't readily rise up to relieve himself while in the trance to learn to go to bed. Gradually, he improved and his physical look changed, however his gray hair on his nose and other parts of his body was already evident at his age.
Joselito forgot about his past and grew to love those who saved him, despite the horrible life he had endured. That was how they treated him, and he relished those tender times.
His rescuers remember him as an angel of light, a ray of hope who taught them a valuable lesson: he tried not to give up even when things went wrong, believing that there is always a second opportunity to be happy. He greeted everyone with his tongue protruding and expressed gratitude for the happiest months of his life with barks and tail wags.
Joselito has crossed the rainbow and is now a frequent performer.
Joselito was a one-of-a-kind canine who passed away seven months after being rescued. He had healed from the heart with a strong spirit, but owing to his elderly age, he was unable to fully recover from his trachea, dying on July 21, 2021.the famous “Dog’s Day”.
You were so unique that when you went on "dog day" on July 21, you left shattered hearts and many confused emotions, but you also left teachings and satisfactions that only you could provide.
The rescuers said their goodbyes with sweet words since this dog had taught them a valuable lesson in life. There is always the possibility of happiness, and he did not squander it; instead, he forgave and went on, deserving of an excellent canine that will always have this sanctuary in his heart.
