Manchas was a Peruvian street dog who lived for many years in Lurn, Lima. The dog was adored by the entire town since it was always present at the festivals, had a unique personality, and was fed and cared for by the neighbors, thus it became the town's mascot. This dog was growing older and life was taking its toll on him; he spent weeks in the hospital, where the community pitched in to pay for his treatments and save him, but Manchas died in the end. They arranged a liturgy for him and offered him a funeral where they said their goodbyes, saddened by the news.

Manchas, a street dog who did not want to be adopted by any family since he felt wonderful getting daily attention from all the residents of the place, neighbors provided him food, and of course, they played with him, was a furry one whom the residents of Lurn liked and respected.
This dog was present at any public occasion, from weddings to neighborhood parties; in the church, he was well accepted, and everyone loved his courteous and pleasant presence. Due to his senior age, this dog began to become ill in late 2019 and early 2020.
People worked together to save Manchas, who was at a veterinary facility and was afterwards treated at a residence. This dog, on the other hand, crossed the rainbow on January 20, 2020.
Estrella Condenso Polo, who was aware of the dog, conveyed the dreadful news. This upset the neighbors who looked after the sweet dog, and they did not hesitate to dismiss him in a dignified manner.

Dogs capture the hearts of anybody who allows themselves to be loved, and the most precious thing they can provide is their genuine and honest companionship. Spots was more than a pet to them, if not a character they adored and cared for, so learning that she had died was devastating.
