A grandma named Maria, who is known for her generosity, recently turned 89 years old in Brazil. Contrary to popular belief, it was not a stuffy event.
It was the kind of party most people only imagine having.
Maria, as you can see, is well-connected with the animal kingdom.
Grandma Maria lives with her daughter, her daughter's family, and a merry pack of gorgeous dogs totaling 10. Maria is the personification of compassion and affection in their eyes. In addition, she provides abundant food for all of her pets.
"It's a highly active household!"
Maria's daughter, Vitoria Abencoada, told The Dodo. She'd be happy sharing her home with a variety of pets. She enjoys nothing more than to cuddle up with one of them.
So, naturally, when Maria's birthday rolled around, all those dogs had to celebrate in style.
As the festivities began, Maria invited the dogs to join her at the table. A birthday party isn't a birthday party without a birthday song.
Seeing all the affection around her, Grandma Maria shone.

Abencoada commented on the situation. "Around here, they're just like one of the kids. They take part in everything that goes on."
Delicious snacks were provided, both for humans and their canine companions.
No question, Grandma Maria has had her share of happy occasions and festivities during the course of her long life on Earth. Probably much too many to tally up.
And yet, her life keeps improving because of her adoration of animals and their reciprocal affection for her, even after 89 years.
